The NFL Draft for the 2026/27 season is set to happen at the end of April, and American football is abuzz with excitement. While the draft can play a major part in a team’s odds for the season, like the Chiefs drafting Mahomes, it isn’t the only factor. So much more goes into a team’s season prospects in addition to their draft picks.
You have to consider the team salary caps, coaching staff, established stars, and even injuries. All of these factors can contribute to a team reaching the Super Bowl. So, choosing our Super Bowl favorites for the 2027 season was far from easy. Even so, these are our picks!
Seattle Seahawks
We can’t make a list of our Super Bowl favorites for the 2027 season without including the defending champs. The Seattle Seahawks earned their way to the top. Some would diminish their success by claiming they had an easy path to the Lombardi thanks to other teams’ injuries or slip-ups. But anyone who’s ever won anything, never mind the Lombardi, will tell you winning is never easy.

That is why we chose the Seahawks as one of our favorites for the season. Having signed Jaxon Smith-Njigba to an extension and added Cam Akers to the backfield, the Seahawks are stacking their offense. Although they lost Boye Mafe, the Seahawks are keeping all their interior linesmen and their four key linebackers. That makes them solid on both ends of the ball, with a perfect mix of experience and youth.
LA Rams
The LA Rams are never a team you should count out. They made the NFC Conference Finals in 2026, losing to the Seahawks, who went on to win the Super Bowl. That showed the rest of the NFL, and all of us, that the Rams had a strong team. With veteran Super Bowl winner QB in Stafford and a stacked WR room with Nacua and Adams, the Rams have a strong offense.

On top of that, they have Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson on the guard positions. More than that, they have linebacker Young, tackle Ford, and DE Fiske on the defensive end. And on top of that, the Rams just signed Pro-Bowler cornerback Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs. This team, combined with coach Sean McVay’s experience, makes the Rams a dangerous competitor.
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills always seem to get within arm’s reach without actually winning the Super Bowl. A lot of fans consider this to be a stain on Josh Allen’s career legacy in the NFL. Between Allen himself, who has proven himself a fierce competitor, and the rest of the offense, which includes Dalton Kincaid, DJ Moore, James Cook III, and Khalil Shakir, the Bills have options. That is one of the reasons we included them in our Super Bowl favorites for the 2027 season.

On the other end of the ball, they have TJ Sanders, Deone Walker, Greg Rousseau, and C.J. Gardner-Johnson. The biggest spotlight will be on the new head coach this season. Joe Brady, who spent the past two seasons as the offensive coordinator, is stepping into the biggest role now. While he certainly has a lot of experience as a QB coach, offensive assistant, and offensive coordinator, we will see if he has what it takes to win it all!
Summary: the Super Bowl Favorites for the 2027 Season
While the season is a long way away, certain teams stand out even now. The three teams we chose as the Super Bowl favorites for the 2027 season have strong and experienced teams. But that doesn’t mean that they will go all the way. One of the best parts about the NFL is that no one can ever guarantee an outcome. Underdogs become champions, and favorites fail on the biggest stage. No one is safe. So, strap in for the draft, and then prepare for the 2027 season!
