Billie Jean King is the most revolutionary player in women’s tennis history. Not only did she win the ‘Battle of the Sexes’ match against Bobby Riggs, but she was also the founder of the WTA. The ‘Battle of the Sexes’ match led to the formation of the WTA tour, even getting made into several movies. In her impressive 22-year career, King won 39 Grand Slams across singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
